I love this outfit. I am the same height as Allison Janney and wore something like this (only probably cheaper and in emerald green tones) this past December to a daytime party so I think the look is very appropriate. What I don“t like about the look is that it makes Allison look boxy and bloated, which I hope is the angle of the photo and not how she looked in real life.
